My overall Favorite Essential Oil so far is Frankincense

I use it to prevent wrinkles… Put a drop in the palm of your hand and then rub hands together in a counter clockwise circle and then press your hands into your face.

It smells really nice and is somehow intoxicating. I have read that Frankincense helps with meditation and connecting to your Inner Wisdom. I would have to agree that it is spiritually uplifting. It was once more valuable than gold and has been called “The Wise Man’s Cure”

I loved it so much that I ran out of it before I realized that it was gone. It really does last a long time if you use it wisely and don’t give too much of it away. lol  I’m getting ready to order more.

Sensuous Feet ~ Find a Podiatrist to Love!

wpid-img_20150927_100740805.jpgIn order to be a Sensuous Woman or a Sensuous Man you must be aware of your Body and how it feels.  Developing an awareness of how your Body feels and an understanding of what it needs will help you keep it Healthy and Feeling Good… and that will make you more Sensuous and Sexy. A Sensuous Person understands the importance of nurturing the Body and taking care of any needs. Keeping our feet Happy and Healthy is critical to our overall well-being.

And believe it or not, no matter how old you are, you need to start thinking about keeping your feet Happy.

It is difficult or impossible to feel Sensuous if your feet hurt… And  75% of Americans will have foot problems at one time or another. In an average day of walking, we put hundreds of tons of impact on our feet. They need our help.

In each foot, there are 26 Bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments and 19 muscles.  There is a lot going on in our feet and we need to pay attention to them if we want to stay Sexy, Sensuous and Healthy.

And as we age… things get even worse and it is more critical to figure out what is going on… the sooner the better. We all abuse our feet. High heels or other shoes that we stuff our feet into can do damage. Shoes with no support or stability are just as bad.

A few facts about aging feet.

Foot size increases ½ size every 10 years after 40. (I think that this happens much sooner.)

Tendons and Ligaments lose their elasticity which causes a flattening of the feet.

Increased force over time causes Fat Pads that cushion the bottom of the foot to thin.

And even if you get fatter, the Fat Pads in your feet get thinner.

Foot flattening can mess with your Big toe making it more likely to rub on the top of your shoe.

Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, and Diabetes can cause lots of other foot problems.

Bunions, Calluses, Toe Nail issues, Joint Malfunctions, Heel pain and Knee and Hip problems are a few other issues that you may have to deal with that are related to feet not being happy.

Unstable feet cause Falls.

Foot pain makes it very difficult to feel Sexy and Sensuous.

All of these things can cause you to lose your Youthful Bounce and the Spring in your Step. So what can you do. I believe that there is a lot you can do no matter where you are in Life. Paying attention to how your feet are doing is key and giving them the love and attention they deserve is vital.

Wearing comfortable shoes that have good support as often as possible is the best thing you can do for your feet. You may need to purchase a new pair of shoes that let your toes wiggle and your feet breathe. Next, you will need to determine if you need arch support or cushioning.  You may want to start by looking at shoe inserts that are available online or at your local shoe store or pharmacy. There are lots of options for shoe inserts that cushion and support your feet. If none of these inserts work for you… I highly recommend that you see a Podiatrist and have custom shoe inserts made. They are made exactly to take care of the needs of your feet. They will bring back that sexy bounce in your step and give you more energy.

I am always searching for great shoes that make me feel bouncy and energetic.

Cook Naked!

Whenever you can… Cook Naked! Cooking Naked helps you stay in touch with your body. Play Dance Music while you cook to set the mood for Sensuous Cooking. Choose music that you love… Music that makes you want to move. (I go to Pandora.com and choose Pleasure Victim)  Dancing while you cook will make cooking a more Sensuous experience. Moving your body rhythmically will get your energy flowing which will improve your Creativity.   And as you are cooking remember to choose lots of colorful Fruits and Veggies and don’t forget to use Herbs and Spices too!  They are all full of Antioxidants and other Magical things.  

I also suggest that you Eat Naked. Eating Naked tends to help you choose your foods and portions more wisely. While you are Cooking and Eating Naked … Be kind to yourself… And remember to say only Positive Helpful things to yourself about your body.   Here is a simple and powerful Positive Affirmation… My Body is becoming more Beautiful, Heathy and Sensuous every day!   Cooking Naked will help you stay in touch with your Sensuous Self. Sensuous Gardening Get Dirty

Playing in the dirt has more benefits than we ever realized.  Over the years we have heard about many ways to increase the “feel good” chemicals in our brains by doing things like eating Dark Chocolate, and doing Yoga or Running.  But now, Gardening has been shown to be an excellent way to improve our Brain Chemistry,Immune System function, and even the way our brains work.   So, what is it about Gardening that helps us in so many ways?  The secret is in the Dirt . . . it’s Magical!
For those of us who are Gardeners, we have always known that Gardening helped us feel good.  But, now there are even more reasons to add Gardening to your Life.   As a Society, we are cleaner than ever with antibacterial soaps and products everywhere we go.  Some of these chemicals can disrupt our endocrine systems.  So, as it turns out, we need to be a little dirtier to be healthy.   This is where Gardening comes in.  When you get your hands into rich, organic soil, you are giving your Body and Mind something essential.  Soil is full of all kinds of microorganisms that we need to be happier and healthier.  Apparently, there are microorganisms in soil that can trigger the release of Serotonin, the “feel good” chemical in the Brain, which is a natural anti-depressant.   There are lots of healthy bacteria that live naturally in the soil.  In fact, a particular strain, named mycobacterium vaccae, has been studied quite a bit. This particular bacterium has been shown to improve Immune Function, increase Serotonin production, and also increase the neuron firing process in the Brain that relates to alertness.
Apparently all of our childhood play, like making mud pies, playing with Tonka trucks in the dirt, rolling around in the dirt, or even playing in a Fairy Garden, had a purpose.   So, get Dirty any way you can.  Find some Heathy, Organic Soil, and go for it.  Getting Dirty will not only improve your overall mood, but it will also help you become more in touch with your Sensuous Self.   Getting in touch with Nature is a vital part of nurturing your Creative, Sensuous Self, as well as helping your overall Mental and Physical Health.
So, no excuses. . . . You can garden anywhere.  You can garden in your yard, in a container on your patio, or even inside your home in a south-facing, sunny window.  Grow something you love.  Start from seeds, or just buy a plant and transplant it into a larger container.  Basil, Impatience, and Lettuce are easy to grow, and can be grown inside or out.  A patio tomato is also nice to have in the summer.  I really like growing cherry tomatoes for salads.
The act of picking veggies, herbs, and flowers is also beneficial to our mental health, because it connects us to our primitive, passionate Nature, and naturally increases Dopamine in the Brain. . . . another “feel good” chemical.   So, be sure to remember . . . Get Dirty. . . . It will make you happy, and increase your connection to the Sensuous, Sexy, Vibrant Person inside of you!  Play in the dirt with your children to help them appreciate Nature, and understand our connection to the Natural World.  And most of all . . . Have Fun!

Go out and Pick some Flowers

imageGo outside and pick some Flowers. In many places in the World on this Spring evening…it’s going to freeze . This often kills blooms that are out there blooming  right now. So go pick some Flowers so you can enjoy them longer… It’s usually best if the flowers belong to you… Bring the Flowers indoors and put them in water. Arrange them in one giant container or in lots of little ones.  Have Fun!

Give and Get a 10 minute Massage

There is nothing better than getting a Massasge… I have been know to say this many times in my Life!  So Give and Get a 10-Minute Massage.  McMaster University researchers have shown that a ten-minute massage not only helps sore muscles, but also has an impact on inflammation-related, chronic conditions.  This is a great reason to give and get a massage.  Apparently, massage can trigger body sensors that send inflammation-reducing signals to muscle cells, and thereby reduce inflammation and speed healing.  Healing is promoted because massage tells the muscles to build more mitochondria, which are the “power stations” of the cells.  So, now there is another great reason for massage . . . not that we needed one.  

A shoulder massage is easy to give, and can be done fully clothed.  Just stand behind the person you want to massage.  Place your hand over the top of the shoulder, and gently squeeze the trapezius muscle that runs from the neck to the top of the arm.  Next, with your hands in the same position, reach down the back with your thumbs, and massage the muscles on both sides of the spine.  Move in small circles, or just reach as far as you can, and stroke the muscles up and down.  You can do this for a few minutes, and then take your thumbs and make small circular motions on both sides of the spine, as far down as you want to go.   After that, bring your hands back to the shoulders, and gently squeeze the large muscles at the top of the arm.  Then, run your hand gently down the arms to the hands, squeezing the arm gently as you go.  This works especially well if you are massaging your lover.  As you move down the arm, you can nuzzle your lover’s neck.  Ask your lover how it felt, and if he would like more.  You can start again at the neck, or see if he has any other requests.  You can also explain the information about how massage helps reduce inflammation.  

You can tell him that you feel that massage is so important that you are thinking about getting a massage every week, and you are looking for a hot massage guy to give you what you need.  Ask him if he knows anyone.  Tell him that you would be open to any kind of bartering.  Hopefully, he will catch your drift. You can be sure that he will understand what you mean if you touch him suggestively.  Tell him that you were told to pay for it, if you need to . . . but you prefer bartering.  More than likely you will also get a 10-minute massage. 

Create a Sensuous Mineral Spring Experience in Your Bathtub      

 If you’d like to go to a Mineral Spring, but just don’t have the time, you can create a similar experience in your own bathtub.  Magnesium does wonderful things to relax your muscles, soothe your skin, and help your entire nervous system feel calm and peaceful.  The most amazing thing is that you can easily turn your bathtub into a mineral spring by going to any grocery or drug store, and buying a bag of Epsom Salts.  Epsom Salts are actually magnesium sulfate. So, grab a bag of minerals, a few candles,  perhaps a glass of wine, a cup of tea, or a fruit smoothie, and enjoy a Mineral Bath in your very own personal Spa. You can also throw a few flower petals in the tub, and play some Sensuous Music if you wish.  

As you relax in your bath, imagine that you are transported to a very expensive Spa with Mineral Springs.  Next, think about the services that you would like to sign up for next . . .

~  Personal Yoga Instructor  
~  Acupuncture  
~  Healthy Sensuous Lunch  
~  Sensuous Massage Class  
~  Sensuous Life Coach  
~  Creative or Erotic Story Writing Class

  As you relax in your Mineral Bath, use your Creative Imagination to visualize yourself doing one of those activities.  After your bath, you can do some self-massage with hot oil, a little Yoga, make a Sensuous Lunch, and perhaps write a Sexy Story.  Whatever you do, be sure to enjoy your “Spa” experience with all of your Senses.

Sexy, Sensuous Christmas Photo Shoot

What a great idea for a Christmas present for your Lover or Yourself . . . a Sensuous photo of you wearing something Sexy. Of course, you could go all out and hire a photographer, but let me suggest a less expensive idea. Instead of hiring a photographer, ask your Sensuous Life Coach Buddy, or a close friend to take
a few Sexy photos of you. If you really cannot find anyone to help you with this project . . . ask your Lover. It would be an evening of fun, even if you don’t end up with any photos. 😉      

The best plan is to figure out everything that you will need before beginning the photo shoot. Decide how you want to look . . . your hair, your clothes, and especially where you want to take the photos. Think about what your Lover would think is Sexy. You could even ask him covertly. Little white lies are okay at Christmas.  Here is an example:    “My friend is going to have some Sexy Photos made for her Lover for Christmas, but she’s not sure what to wear. And, she’s asking me to take the photos for her.  What do guys really think would make the sexiest Christmas Photo? Lingerie . . . Santa’s Sexy Helper . . . or just Lying Naked under the  Christmas Tree !

Be sure to find a time when you will be alone for the photo shoot. Before the “photographer” arrives, pick out a few outfits, and decide the best location with the best lighting for you. Do what you need to do to get in the mood for Sexy Photos  . . . wine, soft music . . . or whatever it takes to get in touch with your Sensuous, Sexy Self. You can practice posing before your “photographer” shows up. You may want to give the photographer a glass of wine too, if she’s nervous about doing a good job. Decide what look you are going for . . . Sex Goddess, or Demure Ingénue, or anything in-between. Think about what turns him on . . . or just think about having Sex, and let the photographer decide which one of your poses works best.

And be sure to take lots and lots of photos. If the photographer wants a few photos of herself, you can trade places when you are done. Most of all, remember to have fun in the process, and focus on how much fun it will be to see the surprise on your Lover’s face on Christmas Morning.
