We need more Self Massage …Sensuous Body Butter!

Self Massage is just one of those things that we need to do more often… And although it’s lovely to feel someone else’s hands on us… we can also learn to appreciate self massage. Close your eyes and  Imagine any part of your body that you would like your lover or your Massage Person to touch. Then imagine exactly how you would like to be touched, and touch yourself the same way.  It’s a perfect plan to increase happiness. If you don’t know where to start, I suggest your feet or hands. Start by using Essential Oils on body parts that need your attention. There is an Essential Oil for every need. If you are not sure which Essential Oil to use you can email me! And when you want something more Sensuous, you can make a little Body Butter, spiced up with your favorite Essential Oils. My favorite blend includes Sacred Frankincense, Lavender and Copaiba with a little Peppermint. Here is an easy  recipe for  a luxurious Sensuous Body Butter. Be sure to use high quality Essential Oils since many contain additives. I only trust Young Living Essential Oils.

Sensuous Whipped Body Butter

1 cup Cocoa Butter

1 cup Organic Coconut Oil

1/2 cup beeswax pellets

1/2 cup Shea Butter

1/4 cup Olive, Almond or Jojoba oil

add 10 drops of your favorite Young Living Essential Oils to each 1/2 cup container

or 40 -60 drops to the entire mix

Use Frankinscense and Lavender to support healthy skin…

Add Copaiba and Peppermint to create a soothing balm for joints,muscles and ligaments.

approx 6   1/2 cup containers     They make wonderful gifts!

In a double boiler or pan, Slowly  Melt the first  4  ingredients.

Remove from heat and cool slightly and add the Olive, Almond or Jojoba Oil.

Place in fridge for 1-2 hours until almost solid again. Then remove from fridge and with a hand mixer whip up the butter until it becomes fluffy. Add the Essential Oils at the end of whipping…And there you have it …  Sensuous Whipped Body Butter.

Now you are ready to do some Self Massage or find someone to share it with. 😉

Create A Sensuous Bedtime Routine!

img_20160205_233906004.jpgA good nights sleep is essential to being a Sensuous Woman… And for many of us Sleeping can be a challenge at times. For others it can become a Lifelong pursuit to have a great night’s sleep…

In my Book, “Be Your Own Sensuous Life Coach” you will find a page called “Sleep and the Sensuous Woman”  which will give you lots of suggestions of how to get better sleep.  I also shared that page approximately one year ago in this Blog… You can scroll down and find it if you want!

As we all know, sleep can be disrupted for so many reasons it would be impossible to list all of them here. But whatever the reason that you have trouble sleeping, there is one thing that you can absolutely do about it… Create A Sensuous Bedtime Routine!

Sensuous Bedtime Routines

A Sensuous Bedtime Routine can include just about anything that you want to do every night before you go to bed. Being consistent with a Bedtime Routine often helps us sleep more deeply.

A Sensuous Bath

Sensuous Essential Oils can be a great addition to any Sensuous Bedtime Routine. As often as possible I like to take a Bath with Essential Oils.  I use only Young Living Essential Oils due to .their “Seed to Seal” Promise.*

So I gather my favorite Essential Oils and choose one or two. I often grab a cup of Epsom Salts and a sprinkle of Sea Salt.  Then I use 3 -8 drops of my favorite oil or sometimes I pick 2 oils. I drop the oils onto the Epsom Salts and mix them up. Sometimes I just put the mixture into an old Jelly jar and shake. Then, in they go, into my hot bath. The scent from the oils in the hot water is very relaxing. Be sure to inhale deeply. Slow deep breathing also gets you ready for bed.

Lavender * is classic and well known for it’s sleep inducing properties. It’s also wonderful mixed with Cedarwood for a lovely night’s sleep. Be sure to use Young Living Lavender grown on their pristine Farms.

Joy** is a very Sensuous Young Living Blend that tends to bring a feeling of relaxation and romance. It includes Rose, Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Bergamot and more. And it smells wonderful.

Stress Away ** is yet another Young Living Blend that has always been one of my favorites. It is relaxing any time of day and especially calming in a hot bath. It smells yummy and contains Vanilla, Lime, Cedarwood, Lavender and more.

After my Sensuous Bath I rinse off my face and pat it dry. I put a drop or two of Frankincense* in the palm of my hand and then rub the palms of my hands together and Press my hands onto my face very gently. After that, I cup my hands over my nose and inhale deeply.

I also have a small spray bottle of Lavender or Stress Away mixed with water that I use to  spray on my pillow. I make my spray with a few drops of oil and filtered or spring water.

Then I put some oil on my feet. In the winter I use Thieves to boost my immunity, or Stress Away or Lavender. Sometimes I put socks on to keep my tootsies warm.

And if I’m having a really restless night I put my diffuser on with Lavender and Orange or Cedarwood.

With this sort of routine you are pretty much guaranteed a Sensuous Night’s Sleep !  It’s fun to Create your own unique Sensuous Bedtime Routine.

Sitting around writing and diffusing  “Release ” which is an Essential Oil from Young Living. Then … Picking a fairy card that says ” Dreams Coming True” …

Horizonal Dancing

To get ready for your Horizonal Dancing… take a hot oil bath with a few drops of your favorite Essential Oils, and a tablespoon or two of grape seed oil or olive oil. Inhale the steam filled with your Essential Oils and massage your body while you bathe. Spend some time appreciating your wonderful body, and what you can do with it. After your bath, put on some sexy lingerie, or whatever makes you feel Sexy and Sensuous.

Find your favorite music ~ the type of music that makes you want to dance. You may want to create your own collection of Dance Music. Be sure to play  your favorites that make you want to move. Then, get on your bed, strip down as far as you dare, and start moving to the music. You will be doing Horizontal Dancing . . . a new form of Sensuous exercise that we just created.

Wiggle and move your body to the music. If you are not ready to dance, just do a few stretches to help you get more in touch with your body. Close your eyes, and imagine that you are being stroked by a mysterious person. Do to yourself what you wish they were doing to you. Move your body like a hot, sexy woman who is in touch with her Sensuous Self. As you touch yourself … enjoy all of your body’s sensations. Feel your soft and sensuous, newly-oiled skin. Feel the strong lines of your body, and your soft silky hair. Invite your Lover to watch your new Sensuous form of dancing . . . Horizontal Dancing . . . and tell him that he can join in on the fun. Have him lie down next to you and do some Horizonal Dancing together. And remember… the most important thing is to have Fun and  get in touch with your Sensuous Self!

Additional Information: My favorite Essential oils for the bath are Stress away or Lavender and Orange. And I always use  Young Living Oils.

(Caution: be careful getting  into and out of the tub… it will be slippery!)

Create a Sensuous Mineral Spring Experience in Your Bathtub      

 If you’d like to go to a Mineral Spring, but just don’t have the time, you can create a similar experience in your own bathtub.  Magnesium does wonderful things to relax your muscles, soothe your skin, and help your entire nervous system feel calm and peaceful.  The most amazing thing is that you can easily turn your bathtub into a mineral spring by going to any grocery or drug store, and buying a bag of Epsom Salts.  Epsom Salts are actually magnesium sulfate. So, grab a bag of minerals, a few candles,  perhaps a glass of wine, a cup of tea, or a fruit smoothie, and enjoy a Mineral Bath in your very own personal Spa. You can also throw a few flower petals in the tub, and play some Sensuous Music if you wish.  

As you relax in your bath, imagine that you are transported to a very expensive Spa with Mineral Springs.  Next, think about the services that you would like to sign up for next . . .

  As you relax in your Mineral Bath, use your Creative Imagination to visualize yourself doing one of those activities.  After your bath, you can do some self-massage with hot oil, a little Yoga, make a Sensuous Lunch, and perhaps write a Sexy Story.  Whatever you do, be sure to enjoy your “Spa” experience with all of your Senses.
