Give and Get a 10 minute Massage

There is nothing better than getting a Massasge… I have been know to say this many times in my Life!  So Give and Get a 10-Minute Massage.  McMaster University researchers have shown that a ten-minute massage not only helps sore muscles, but also has an impact on inflammation-related, chronic conditions.  This is a great reason to give and get a massage.  Apparently, massage can trigger body sensors that send inflammation-reducing signals to muscle cells, and thereby reduce inflammation and speed healing.  Healing is promoted because massage tells the muscles to build more mitochondria, which are the “power stations” of the cells.  So, now there is another great reason for massage . . . not that we needed one.  

A shoulder massage is easy to give, and can be done fully clothed.  Just stand behind the person you want to massage.  Place your hand over the top of the shoulder, and gently squeeze the trapezius muscle that runs from the neck to the top of the arm.  Next, with your hands in the same position, reach down the back with your thumbs, and massage the muscles on both sides of the spine.  Move in small circles, or just reach as far as you can, and stroke the muscles up and down.  You can do this for a few minutes, and then take your thumbs and make small circular motions on both sides of the spine, as far down as you want to go.   After that, bring your hands back to the shoulders, and gently squeeze the large muscles at the top of the arm.  Then, run your hand gently down the arms to the hands, squeezing the arm gently as you go.  This works especially well if you are massaging your lover.  As you move down the arm, you can nuzzle your lover’s neck.  Ask your lover how it felt, and if he would like more.  You can start again at the neck, or see if he has any other requests.  You can also explain the information about how massage helps reduce inflammation.  

You can tell him that you feel that massage is so important that you are thinking about getting a massage every week, and you are looking for a hot massage guy to give you what you need.  Ask him if he knows anyone.  Tell him that you would be open to any kind of bartering.  Hopefully, he will catch your drift. You can be sure that he will understand what you mean if you touch him suggestively.  Tell him that you were told to pay for it, if you need to . . . but you prefer bartering.  More than likely you will also get a 10-minute massage.

Create a Sensuous Mineral Spring Experience in Your Bathtub      

 If you’d like to go to a Mineral Spring, but just don’t have the time, you can create a similar experience in your own bathtub.  Magnesium does wonderful things to relax your muscles, soothe your skin, and help your entire nervous system feel calm and peaceful.  The most amazing thing is that you can easily turn your bathtub into a mineral spring by going to any grocery or drug store, and buying a bag of Epsom Salts.  Epsom Salts are actually magnesium sulfate. So, grab a bag of minerals, a few candles,  perhaps a glass of wine, a cup of tea, or a fruit smoothie, and enjoy a Mineral Bath in your very own personal Spa. You can also throw a few flower petals in the tub, and play some Sensuous Music if you wish.  

As you relax in your bath, imagine that you are transported to a very expensive Spa with Mineral Springs.  Next, think about the services that you would like to sign up for next . . .

Do That Thing That You Said You’d Never Do!

Do Something that you said you’d never do.  Throughout our lives there are many times when we think to ourselves . . . “I’d never do that” . . . and sometimes it’s a sensible thought, especially when that something is dangerous or unhealthy.  Often, we decide not to do something because whatever it is may be outside of our comfort zone.

Spend a little time in a Sensuous Space.  Take a few deep breaths, and think about some of the things that you said you’d never do.  Maybe you’ve said, “I’ll never travel to _______,” or maybe that you’d never do that sexual thing your lover always wanted to do . . . or never go skinny-dipping, or ever consider going skydiving.  The ideas are endless. So, whenever you hear yourself saying, “I will never do that!” . . . spend a few moments to consider the possibility that you might actually want to do it someday.  Make a list, if you want, of these things that you think you would never do.  Then, go over the list, and ask yourself . . . why not?

Pick one of the things on your list, and learn as much as you can about it . . . and then, do it!       Savor the experience of doing something that was previously out of the realm of possibilities.  Let go, relax into it, and be aware of emotions and sensations that go along with it.  Later, think about how it was to step outside of your comfort zone.  Expanding your horizons, and doing that thing that you said you’d never do will help you become more in touch with your Sensuous Self.  Try this exercise whenever the opportunity arises.  It will make you a Sensuous Woman!

Experience Real Perfume Every Day!

Perfume can be nice, but natural fragrances are more gentle to our senses. Flowers are a natural source of real perfume.  In my opinion, the best way to experience real perfume every day is to surround yourself with real flowers. Grow or buy flowers, so that you have some real perfume in your life every day. In your garden, try to include flowers that are known for their fragrance. Some of the sweetest-smelling flowers include Lilac, Roses, Hyacinth, Lilies, Lavender, Dianthus, Sweet Peas, and Phlox.  Once they start blooming, be sure to pick a few for your home and office every day. Picking flowers actually stimulates the plant to put out more flowers.     
Growing flowers in containers is another way to add natural perfume to your life, and it’s not that complicated. Most summer annuals and tropical plants will grow on a sunny window sill, or on your porch. Citrus trees do well in containers, and lemon trees are especially beautiful. Few flowers smell as sweet as lemon blossoms. You can also grow sweet-smelling herbs, like lemon balm or basil. Basil roots in water, and can be grown in water. All you have to do is add some water every other day and a little fertilizer weekly. Both basil and lemon balm will also grow nicely in containers in a south-facing, sunny window in your home. Exceptionally fragrant indoor plants include Citrus, Jasmine, and Gardenia.      
You may want to stop by your local florist, and pick up a few flowers. Just visiting a Flower Shop can give you a real perfume experience. Tell the floral designer that you are looking for the most fragrant flowers. Be sure to smell them before you buy, because although they may be fragrant, they may not be pleasing to you.      Flowers tap into the emotional center of the brain. What might smell nice to one person, may remind another of something unpleasant. My favorite sweet-smelling, cut flowers are Freesia, Stock, and some varieties of Roses. Buying flowers for yourself is a Sensuous Activity! You don’t need to wait for a special occasion, or someone else to buy them for you. . . . Put it on your list of things to do to become a more Sensuous Woman. Adding flowers into your life on a daily basis will soothe your senses, and help you get more in touch with your Sensuous Self.

Sleep Naked

Sleeping Naked can make you more Sexy, Sensuous, and Healthy in several ways. Here are a few of the reasons to peel off your clothes every night before you go to bed. 
~ Your Skin . . .    Your skin will benefit by being exposed to fresh air all night. Since you will be unencumbered by clothing, you will be able to feel the sheets moving over your skin, and this improves your body awareness. As you relax, and get ready to fall asleep, you can give yourself a massage by just running your hands along the curves of your body. Explain to your Lover that you are doing a Sensuous Exercise, and becoming more in touch with your skin. If your skin feels dry, just pull back the covers, and start applying Massage Oil to your dry skin.  Massage Oil should always be within arm’s reach while you are in bed, in case someone needs an emergency massage. Close your eyes, and pay attention to how your skin feels as your apply the massage oil. Imagine that a Sensuous Massage Guy is oiling up your body. . . . You may find that your Lover will enjoy watching you, and may decide to join in.  
~ Your Sensuous Hormones . . . Melatonin and Growth Hormones . . . One of the most important things to remember when you sleep is to “Be Cool” . . . Sleeping in a dark room is essential  for increasing your Sensuous Hormones. Darkness helps your body release Melatonin, which in turn helps your body cool down while you sleep. This is important because . . . keeping your body cool promotes the release of Growth Hormones, which regenerate the body while you sleep.   According to Natasha Turner (author of the best-selling book, “The Hormone Diet”), “As your body temperature drops, Growth Hormones are released, and work their regenerative magic.” The release of these hormones keeps your skin and hair looking healthy, sensuous, and sexy.
~ Fat-Burning Hormones . . . By keeping your body cool while you sleep, you are also helping your body release Fat-Burning Hormones. When your body is cool, you sleep deeper, which in turn decreases your Cortisol level, and increases your Appetite Controlling Hormones.
~  Oxytocin . . . Another great reason to Sleep Naked is skin-to-skin contact. Skin-to-skin contact with your Lover increases Oxytocin, the feel-good hormone. Oxytocin is involved in fighting the harmful effects of cortisol, reduces blood pressure, and increases sexual response and orgasm.  
~ Your Vagina . . .  Sleeping naked lets your private parts breathe.  Okay, so your vagina won’t really be taking deep breaths, but good air flow improves it’s health and well-being.  
~ Your Lover . . .  Most men love the idea of having a naked woman in their bed. If you usually go to bed in some kind of clothing . . . it will be a fun surprise for your Lover. When you decide to Sleep Naked . . . sneak into bed without his knowing what you have planned. I’m sure that you will enjoy his response to discovering a naked woman in his bed. You may find that you spend all night long increasing your Oxytocin.
