Chocolate for Breakfast!

So I was explaining to one of my friends last evening that the best thing  I do every day for myself is to a drink a Sensuous Protein Shake made with fruits and vegetables. That way no matter what else I do the rest of the Day, I know that I did one really wonderful thing for my mind and body.
The first step in creating your own Sensuous Protein Shake is to get a high quality protein powder.  Dr Oz and many experts recommend Pea Protein and consider it the best protein to choose for your protein shake. I get my chocolate protein powder  from Arbonne. Available from peggydurham.arbonne.com   It contains pea protein, as well as rice and cranberry protein, vitamins and minerals, alfalfa, Co 10 and ginseng.   I use almond milk and add berries or mango. That works well if you are using a blender but what is really fun is to use a Nutri Bullet.  I’ve been using one lately. It allows me to add a carrot, apple, kale or almost any fruit or veggie.  The Nutri Bullet pulverizes all fruits and veggies into a liquid. Pulverizing it makes it super healthy and highly available to your body.

You can make this shake really smooth and yummy by adding a half of a square of dark chocolate and a banana. Then top it with grated dark chocolate.

About the photo above … the shake was so good I kept drinking it while I was looking for the camera.

Always make enough for two and give half of it to a friend or Lover. Have your Shake for breakfast or for  two snacks. Eating or drinking protein throughout the day keeps your metabolism humming nicely!

Go out and Pick some Flowers

imageGo outside and pick some Flowers. In many places in the World on this Spring evening…it’s going to freeze . This often kills blooms that are out there blooming  right now. So go pick some Flowers so you can enjoy them longer… It’s usually best if the flowers belong to you… Bring the Flowers indoors and put them in water. Arrange them in one giant container or in lots of little ones.  Have Fun!

Create a Sensuous Mineral Spring Experience in Your Bathtub      

 If you’d like to go to a Mineral Spring, but just don’t have the time, you can create a similar experience in your own bathtub.  Magnesium does wonderful things to relax your muscles, soothe your skin, and help your entire nervous system feel calm and peaceful.  The most amazing thing is that you can easily turn your bathtub into a mineral spring by going to any grocery or drug store, and buying a bag of Epsom Salts.  Epsom Salts are actually magnesium sulfate. So, grab a bag of minerals, a few candles,  perhaps a glass of wine, a cup of tea, or a fruit smoothie, and enjoy a Mineral Bath in your very own personal Spa. You can also throw a few flower petals in the tub, and play some Sensuous Music if you wish.  

As you relax in your bath, imagine that you are transported to a very expensive Spa with Mineral Springs.  Next, think about the services that you would like to sign up for next . . .

  As you relax in your Mineral Bath, use your Creative Imagination to visualize yourself doing one of those activities.  After your bath, you can do some self-massage with hot oil, a little Yoga, make a Sensuous Lunch, and perhaps write a Sexy Story.  Whatever you do, be sure to enjoy your “Spa” experience with all of your Senses.

Sexy, Sensuous Christmas Photo Shoot

What a great idea for a Christmas present for your Lover or Yourself . . . a Sensuous photo of you wearing something Sexy. Of course, you could go all out and hire a photographer, but let me suggest a less expensive idea. Instead of hiring a photographer, ask your Sensuous Life Coach Buddy, or a close friend to take
a few Sexy photos of you. If you really cannot find anyone to help you with this project . . . ask your Lover. It would be an evening of fun, even if you don’t end up with any photos. 😉      

The best plan is to figure out everything that you will need before beginning the photo shoot. Decide how you want to look . . . your hair, your clothes, and especially where you want to take the photos. Think about what your Lover would think is Sexy. You could even ask him covertly. Little white lies are okay at Christmas.  Here is an example:    “My friend is going to have some Sexy Photos made for her Lover for Christmas, but she’s not sure what to wear. And, she’s asking me to take the photos for her.  What do guys really think would make the sexiest Christmas Photo? Lingerie . . . Santa’s Sexy Helper . . . or just Lying Naked under the  Christmas Tree !

Be sure to find a time when you will be alone for the photo shoot. Before the “photographer” arrives, pick out a few outfits, and decide the best location with the best lighting for you. Do what you need to do to get in the mood for Sexy Photos  . . . wine, soft music . . . or whatever it takes to get in touch with your Sensuous, Sexy Self. You can practice posing before your “photographer” shows up. You may want to give the photographer a glass of wine too, if she’s nervous about doing a good job. Decide what look you are going for . . . Sex Goddess, or Demure Ingénue, or anything in-between. Think about what turns him on . . . or just think about having Sex, and let the photographer decide which one of your poses works best.

And be sure to take lots and lots of photos. If the photographer wants a few photos of herself, you can trade places when you are done. Most of all, remember to have fun in the process, and focus on how much fun it will be to see the surprise on your Lover’s face on Christmas Morning.

Do That Thing That You Said You’d Never Do!

Do Something that you said you’d never do.  Throughout our lives there are many times when we think to ourselves . . . “I’d never do that” . . . and sometimes it’s a sensible thought, especially when that something is dangerous or unhealthy.  Often, we decide not to do something because whatever it is may be outside of our comfort zone.

Spend a little time in a Sensuous Space.  Take a few deep breaths, and think about some of the things that you said you’d never do.  Maybe you’ve said, “I’ll never travel to _______,” or maybe that you’d never do that sexual thing your lover always wanted to do . . . or never go skinny-dipping, or ever consider going skydiving.  The ideas are endless. So, whenever you hear yourself saying, “I will never do that!” . . . spend a few moments to consider the possibility that you might actually want to do it someday.  Make a list, if you want, of these things that you think you would never do.  Then, go over the list, and ask yourself . . . why not?

Pick one of the things on your list, and learn as much as you can about it . . . and then, do it!       Savor the experience of doing something that was previously out of the realm of possibilities.  Let go, relax into it, and be aware of emotions and sensations that go along with it.  Later, think about how it was to step outside of your comfort zone.  Expanding your horizons, and doing that thing that you said you’d never do will help you become more in touch with your Sensuous Self.  Try this exercise whenever the opportunity arises.  It will make you a Sensuous Woman!

Give Your Lover Three Wishes

Related to the New and Improved, Sensuous You … Tell your Lover about your Quest to become more in touch with your Sensuous Self.  Explain that you want to give him Three Wishes that are related to your becoming more Sensuous and Sexy. You may need to give him a few examples to help him get started.       
There are five senses, so you should give him at least one example for each. Here are a few ideas to help you get started, but the possibilities are endless.

Sight – You could dress in Sensuous, Sexy clothes . . . or role-play with costumes . . . or maybe look at Erotic Drawings together.  

Touch – You could brainstorm with him about ways that he’d like to be touched . . . or take a soapy, slippery shower together . . . or demonstrate to him… how you like to be touched.

Smell – You could buy a new perfume . . . or wear no perfume at all . . . or cook a pie with cinnamon and vanilla (both are aphrodisiacs to men).  

Hearing – You could watch sexy, music videos together . . . or you could listen to music to to find the best music for dancing or having sex together . . . or you could read a sexy story to him in a sultry voice.  

Taste –You could create a tasting experience by assembling a variety of items, like honey, maple syrup, strawberry, or chocolate syrup, and whipped cream to discover which one tastes best when licked off of your lover’s body, or your own.         

You could also explain how you are working on your Sensuality, your Imagination, and your Creativity, as it relates to Sex, and your overall Health Goals. Tell him that these are just a few suggestions.  Before he makes his Three Wishes, you may want to tell him that you retain the right to veto any idea …but that you will try to keep an open mind. You will probably find that all of this talk about Sensuality and Sexuality will lead to other things.  So, remember to be playful and have fun!

Get Off of the Sugar “Roller Coaster”

A Sensuous Woman doesn’t need sugar to be sweet! Sugar is sweet, but what it does to your body is evil. When you eat white sugar, your pancreas goes a little crazy.  The job of your pancreas is to send out insulin to help your body utilize sugar.  It takes one molecule of insulin to move one molecule of sugar out of the blood stream, and into a cell.  “The Roller Coaster Effect” happens because white sugar is an unnatural food.  What I mean is that white sugar is so processed that it has lost all of the vitamins, minerals, and fiber that were present in it when it was in its natural state. This unnatural substance (white sugar) causes your body to overreact. As soon as you eat the sugar, your blood sugar level goes sky high. At this point, the pancreas freaks out (because it’s job is to send out insulin to keep the blood sugar at a reasonable level), and it sends out too much insulin to take care of the sugar. What happens next is that too much insulin is produced, and it causes your blood sugar level to drop very quickly. And, when your blood sugar level drops, you feel hungry, and will often reach for something sweet to help you feel better quickly. Wow!  It’s easy to see how this vicious cycle is unhealthy for your mind and body.

 Sugar causes many health problems.  Here are a few:

~    Causes weight gain, and promotes fat production

~    Drives heart disease

~    Leads to metabolic syndrome and diabetes
          
~    Elevates insulin in the blood which can contribute to the development of cancers         

~    Is addictive, due to the high level of dopamine that is produced in the brain when you eat sugar 

The bottom line is that you need to avoid white sugar products as much as possible.

My solution is to use Stevia.  Stevia is the best sugar substitute. It’s extracted from the sweet leaves of the Stevia plant.  It comes in powder and liquid forms.  I prefer the liquid extract.  Some extracts contain a tiny amount of alcohol, so read the label, or buy the powder form if you want it to be alcohol free.  Giving up sugar is one of the best ways to become the Sexy, Sensuous, Healthy Woman you want to be.
